One of Douglas County’s premier ghost writers has been sighted recently, checking out historic Oakland graveyards and signing books in historical places. She is expected to reappear in Oakland, the night before Halloween, and if you are lucky, you may catch her there.
Arlene Jenkins is her name and she appears to be just an ordinary looking lady, even with her shock of white hair virtually standing on end, as you can see in the accompanying photo.
